The Riverside Drama Company
was formed in 1992, and is an active amateur group of over 20 members,
mainly from the Long Eaton and Beeston areas. We try to present three
productions a year at the
Duchess Theatre
in Long Eaton, which gives our members plenty of opportunity to be involved with all aspects of amateur theatre.
Our aim is to bring an

We're a friendly group, and
we're actively seeking new members (in any capacity - acting or backstage).
Please feel free to come along and join us, you'll be sure of a warm welcome!
You'll probably have the opportunity to appear in a production almost
immediately if you want to (particularly if you're male!)
We meet & rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm - 10pm in the
sports hall at Bramcote Church of England Primary School, adding an additional rehearsal evening (usually a Tuesday) as a production date draws closer.
Once we complete a
production, we spend a few weeks reading potential plays together before
a decision is made and rehearsals begin. Even if you're not in the
cast for a production, there are many backstage roles that desperately
need filling, such as stage manager, props and set design &
construction.
